Injury Collision on Miller Pike in Marion County

(Marion County, KY) -- Trooper Casey Wethington is investigating a collision that occurred at approximately 5:00 PM EST on Miller Pike, 2 miles west of Lebanon. 50 year old Catherine Hubbell of Gravel Switch was operating an ambulance eastbound on Miller Pike. The vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the roadway causing Hubbell to lose control. The ambulance then struck a utility pole and overturned. Hubbell was treated and released at Spring View Hospital. Paramedic Troy Hamilton, 41 years of age, of Lebanon, was in the rear of the ambulance treating a patient when the collision occurred. Hamilton was flown to the University of Louisville. The patient being transported was not injured.
