Felony Sexual Abuse Arrest in Boyd County

The Kentucky State Police have arrested a Boyd County resident after receiving a report of sexual abuse to a female juvenile, who at the time of the abuse was under 12 years of age.

On November 27, 2012 The Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland received a report of sexual abuse from a 17 year of age female, currently residing in Newington Connecticut. The juvenile reported she was sexually abuse at a residence on Linda Circle in Boyd County over the course of several years between 1998 and 2007. The Diamond's were family friends of the victim's mother and were assisting with babysitting when the abuse occurred.

On December 20, 2012 an interview was conducted with Clyde A. Diamond and it was reaveled that sexual contact (touching in a sexual manner) had occurred between Mr. Diamond and the female juvenile.

Clyde A. Diamond, age 47, of Burnaugh KY was arrested lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center and charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree Victim Under 12 Years of Age (4 counts).
