Carter County Arson Arrest

Timothy Dwayne Adams

(Ashland, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested a Carter County resident after receiving a complaint of a residential fire at 1056 Carter Caves Road Olive Hill, KY.

On Wednesday December 5, 2012 a residential fire occurred at the residence of Timothy Dwayne Adams.

On Friday December 14, 2012 The Kentucky State Police received a call from an individual wishing to speak with a Trooper to discuss the details of the fire. Tpr. David Boarman responded to 501 CW Stevens Boulevard Grayson, KY and made contact with Timothy D. Adams. An interview was conducted and it was determined the fire had been intentionally set by the homeowner, Timothy Adams.

Timothy Dwayne Adams, age 36, of Olive Hill, KY was arrested, lodged in the Carter County Detention Center and charged with Arson 2nd Degree.

At this time no additional details are available for release.

The investigation is ongoing by Trooper David Boarman.
