Olive Hill Man Arrested on Sexual Abuse Charges

James M. Layne

(Ashland, KY)-- On Tuesday October 16, 2012 The Kentucky State Police in Ashland received a complaint of sexual abuse involving two juvenile females at a foster home on Grahn Road in Olive Hill, KY. During the course of the investigation it was determined that sexual intercourse had occurred between James M. Layne and two juvenile females, ages 14 and 15. At the time of contact both juveniles were in the care of Mr. Layne.

James M. Layne, age 29, of Olive Hill, KY was arrested and lodged in the Carter County Detention Center on the following charges:

  1. Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (2 counts)

The investigation is ongoing by Trooper John Marcum.
