Two Unrelated Meth Labs located in Carter County

Date of News Release: 06/05/2012

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested two Carter County residents for manufacturing methamphetamine in the area of Dawson Branch which is in the Norton Branch community. The Kentucky State Police received a tip of a suspected methamphetamine lab at an outbuilding near a residence at 257 Dawson Branch Road. Upon trooper's arrival, they located two male subjects in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine. Both subjects were arrested and charged with one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense.

Located at the scene were several precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine. Both subjects were lodged in the Carter County Detention center.

Arrested was:

Randall Carroll , age 32, of Norton Branch
Jarred Fryer, age 25, of Norton Branch

Drug Enforcement Special Investigation also responded and assisted.

Trooper Brian Marcum is the lead investigator.

Second Lab- Carter County

The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested two Carter County residents for manufacturing methamphetamine in the area of Sycamore Lane which is in the community of Star. The Kentucky State Police received a tip of a suspected methamphetamine lab in a camper near a residence on Sycamore Lane. Upon trooper's arrival, they located a male and a female in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine. Both subjects were arrested and charged with one count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense.

Located at the scene were several precursors used to manufacture methamphetamine. Both subjects were lodged in the Carter County Detention center.

Arrested was:

Keith Davis, age 53, of Grayson
Tarasa Robinette, age 38, of Grayson

Drug Enforcement Special Investigation also responded and assisted.

This lab was the KSP responded to during the same evening in Carter County.

Trooper David Boarman is the lead investigator.
