One Injured in a Collision on I-64

(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred on I-64 near the 168 mile post. The collision occurred around 1:45 pm this afternoon (05/21/2012). Kimberly Bradley, age 21 of Olive Hill, was traveling Westbound on I-64 when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle was a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The vehicle crossed the median and overturned onto the eastbound lanes of I-64.

Bradley was airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital for multiple injuries. It is not clear whether Bradley was wearing a seatbelt.

Carter County Sheriff assisted with the collision that is still under investigation by Trooper David Hobbs.

Eastbound lanes of I-64 had to be temporarily closed for one hour.
