One Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery In Perry County

(HAZARD, Ky.) -- On September 27, 2012 at approximately 01:21 a.m. Kentucky State Police in Hazard received a call from the Perry Co. 911 of an Armed Robbery at the Grapevine BP Super Mart.

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the accused, Lilli Nicole Hurt age 20 of Bonnyman, had entered the store and attempted to rob the clerk at knife point. The accused, Ms. Hurt, then assaulted the clerk and 2 patrons with the weapon before fleeing the scene. The accused was later stopped by KSP Units and taken into custody. Hurt was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Detention Center and charged with Armed Robbery and 3 counts of Attempted Murder. The victims were transported to local medical facilities for treatment. The investigation continues by Det. Gary S. Sandlin.
