Meth Lab Located at a Residence In Knott County

(Hazard Ky.) -- On February 2, 2012 Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard along with DESI East and the Knott County Sheriff's Department responded to a complaint at 274 Old Field Hollow Road in the Carrie community of Knott County in reference to a possible meth lab.

Preliminary investigation revealed meth precursors in the residence at the above address. Justin C. Singleton age 23 of Carrie was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st and Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursors and lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Detention Center.

Arrested at the scene also on unrelated charges were Vicky Singleton and Josh Singleton in reference to outstanding warrants and lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Detention Center. DESI East removed the hazardous materials located at the scene for proper disposal. The investigation is continuing by Tpr. Oman Sandlin.
