Spencer County Investigation by KSP Leads to an Indictment and Arrest

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On October 17, 2012, the Spencer County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Chad M. Rahrig, age 36, of Taylorsville, KY. The indictment charges Rahrig with Promoting a Minor in a Sexual Performance and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

The Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post started its investigation in October 2011 after receiving a complaint. The investigating Post 12 Detective used the KSP Electronic Crimes Branch to assist him in the investigation. The electronic evidence found helped to indict Rahrig. He was arrested on October 29, 2012, on the Spencer County indictment warrants by the Spencer County Sheriff's Office. He was lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.
