Death Investigation in Clay County

(LONDON, KY.) –- On Saturday, December 08, 2012 at 3:06 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report, from the Clay County 911 Center, of a person found deceased on Saw Mill Hollow Road in the Crawlfish community of Clay County.

Upon arrival Detective Richie Baxter discovered the victim just off a dirt road.

The cause of death and positive identification are pending the outcome of an autopsy.

Detective Baxter is continuing the investigation and he was assisted by officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Clay County Sheriff's Department and the Clay County Coroner's Office.
