Eleven Troopers Assigned to Post 9 - Pikeville

(Pikeville,Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville welcomes eleven new Troopers. On October 30, 2011 Kentucky State Police Academy Class #89 graduated 60 new Troopers. Eleven of these new Troopers were assigned to Pikeville Post and reported to Post 9 on November 2, 2011 for their assignment of counties. Craig Hulsey of Elizabethtown,Ky., Heath Ayres of Lancaster,Ky., Nicholas Hale of Columbia, Ky., Christopher Marcum of Lexington, Ky., Joshua Cox of Corbin,Ky., Jeremy Giles of Columbia, Ky., and Stephen Mirus of Morehead,Ky., will be assigned to Pike County. Timothy Hurtt of Richmond,Ky., Bradley Watson of Flemingsburg,Ky., and Clifton Royal of Berea,Ky. will be assigned to Floyd County. Zachariah Pennington of Richmond,Ky. will be assigned to Martin, Magoffin and Johnson Counties.
