DUI Injury collision on Fraley Road in Bath County

Date of News Release: 12/11/2011

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On December 10, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service from Bath County Dispatch in reference to a one vehicle injury accident on Fraley Road in Bath County. David Mannon was traveling westbound on Fraley Rd. when he lost control of his 2002 Chevrolet Impala driving off the roadway. Alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident. Mr. Mannon and the passenger, Tammy Yeary exited the vehicle and left the scene of the accident. Both subjects went to a residence on Bypass Road in Bath County. Where an anonymous caller called Kentucky State Police with their location. Mr. Mannon was taken into custody and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident-Failure to Render Aid, DUI 1st, and No Operator License. Ms. Yeary was taken to St. Claire Medical Center and treated for minor injuries sustained in the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Michael Armstrong.
