Burglary investigation and arrest

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On November 24, 2011 Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service from KY 205 in Morgan County. A subject advised that his residence had been broken into sometime overnight or this morning. Trooper Charles Bolin responded to the scene and after preliminary investigation, neighbors in the area were able to provide a description of a vehicle seen at the residence earlier in the morning.
Trooper Bolin received a lead that stated the vehicle was seen in Morehead, KY around 11:30 a.m. Trooper Chris Jones and Trooper William Sparks were on routine patrol on Main Street in Morehead, KY when they observed a vehicle matching the description given by Trooper Bolin. Trooper Sparks initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Joseph Davidson and Jonathan Blair were in the vehicle. Jonathan Blair admitted to the burglary in Morgan County and advised Troopers where the stolen merchandise was located.
Mr. Davidson was taken into custody and charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Burglary Tools and Burglary 2nd Degree. Four additional warrants were also served on Mr. Davidson when he was taken into custody. Jonathan Blair was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.
The stolen property has been returned to the owner by Trooper Bolin. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
