Injury collision on Highway 1106 in Bath County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On September 28, 2011 Kentucky State Police Morehead was notified by Bath County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury accident on Highway 1106 in Bath County. Trooper Scott Ferrell responded to the scene along with Bath County Emergency Medical Services. Rosemary Bowles was traveling westbound on Highway 1106 when her vehicle entered a curve in the roadway. The roadway was wet and Ms. Bowles lost control of her vehicle skidding off the roadway into a ditch line and overturned. Two juvenile passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. All occupants of the vehicle were taken to Saint Joseph East Hospital in Mount Sterling, KY with non life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
