Methamphetamine Lab Arrest in Wolfe County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 1:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police was notified by Wolfe County Dispatch in reference to a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence on Sandy Ridge Road in Wolfe County. Trooper Brandon Eversole and Wolfe County Sheriff Chris Carson responed to the scene. Consent to search was given by Adam Gilbert who lives on the property. Mr. Gilbert advised there was not an active lab at the residence but did advise that he had manufactured methamphetamines within the last day. Precursors to the manufacturing of methamphetamine process were found at the residence along with drug paraphernalia and a pill soak. No finished product was located at the residence at the time of the search. Mr. Gilbert has been lodged at the Three Forks Regional Jail in Beattyville, KY. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
