Recovery of Stolen Property & Arrest in Fleming County
Date of News Release: 08/29/2011
(Morehead, Ky.) -- August 25, 2011 at 3:50 p.m., Willie Gregory reported to Trooper Anson Tribby that while he was mowing his yard, had observed Jimmy "George" Conley enter his (Gregory's) garage through an open vehicle entry way. Mr. Gregory then observed Mr. Conley exit the garage, possessing a yellow Pullon leaf blower, leaving in a dark navy blue four door Pontiac Grand Am. A search of Conley's residence that same evening did not produce the leaf blower. However, through telephone communication to Mr. Conley later that same day, resulted in the return of the stolen property the following morning when it mysteriously reappeared at the Mr. Gregory residence. Trooper Tribby obtained an Arrest Warrant and located Mr. Conley at his residence where he was subsequently arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree. He is currently housed at the Mason County Detention Center.
