Drug Round Up in Elliott County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On June 24, 2011, Kentucky State Police Morehead Troopers along with the Elliott County Sheriff's Department served multiple warrants in Elliott County. The Elliott County Grand Jury returned fifty three indictments on drug trafficking and other drug related charges. The indictments were a result of an eighteen month investigation by the Kentucky State Police, the Elliott County Sheriff's Department and Operation Unite. Twenty two individuals have been taken into custody as of today. Fourteen individuals turned themselves into the Sheriff Department while eight other subjects were located by Kentucky State Police and the Elliott County Sheriff's Department.

Christopher Spears, Terry Sparks, Bobby Skaggs, Jody Holbrook, Leslie Fraley, Danny R. Bowling, Tabitha Newsome and Billy Jo Wagoner were located and taken into custody by Kentucky State Police and the Elliott County Sheriff's Department. Each individual was charged with one count Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree.

Ryan Ison, Mary Ison, Carl Ratliff, Greg Matthews, Lynvel Conn, Natasha Wagoner, Rhoda Lewis, turned themselves into authorities at the Elliott County Sheriff's Department. Each individual has been charge with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Brandy Flannery, Robert Stevens, Steven Ison, Deborah Wagoner and Donald Cassell were each charged with two counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Curtis Winkleman and James Newsome were charged with three counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree. All subjects have been lodged at the Johnson County Detention Center in Paintsville, KY. Further investigation continues and more arrests to follow.
