Salt Lick Bank Robbery

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1111 AM, KSP Morehead received a call from Salt Lick Deposit Bank in Bath County reporting an armed robbery at the bank. An unidentified white male entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller, brandishing a handgun. The teller complied with his request, placing cash and two red dye packs in the bag the suspect handed to them. The suspect exited the bank on foot when the two dye packs exploded. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, 5'10" to 6'0", salt and pepper hair and of slender build. He was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve blue denim shirt, a blue and white University of Kentucky baseball cap that has “Wildcats” on the front and gold rimmed glasses. The suspect may have red dye stains from the dye packs on his person and clothes.
