Injury collision on I-64 in Bath County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On March 11, 2011 at 0600 hours, Kentucky State Police Post 8 received a call, from Bath County Dispatch in reference to a single vehicle accident, that occurred at the 119 mile marker Interstate 64 westbound. Trooper Scott Ferrell and Trooper Aaron Brown responded to the scene. Tammie L. Holbrook of Morgan County was operating a 2009 Pontiac G6 eastbound when the vehicle began to slide and spin, Ms. Holbrook lost control of the vehicle, sliding into the median and came to rest against the guardrail. Ms. Holbrook and Ms. Ferguson were both transported to Saint Joseph in Mount Sterling by Bath County Emergency Medical Services. Ms. Stamper was airlifted from the scene to University of Kentucky Medical Center for a head injury. Accident remains under investigation by Trooper Scott Ferrell.
