Felony arrest in Morgan County

Date of News Release: 03/07/2011

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On March 6, 2011, at 1531 hours, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call in reference to Curtis Harvey Jr. being intoxicated and firing shots towards a residence located at 284 Walnut Street in Ezel, Kentucky. Troopers Whitney Howard, Joseph Zalone, Charles Bowling, Anson Tribby, Brandon Eversole, and Morgan County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the scene. Mr. Harvey was taken into custody and charged with Wanton Endangerment First Degree, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place(1st and 2nd Offense). Mr. Harvey was transported by Morgan County EMS to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Whitney Howard.
