One killed in a single tractor trailer collision on I-64

(Morehead, Ky.) -- The identification of the tractor trailer driver involved in the I-64 collision in Bath County has been released by the Bath County Coroner as that of 56 year old Michael Dean Hall of Staunton, VA. Mr. Hall was located by rescue personal on 02/03/2011 at 18:58 hours. Mr. Hall was enroute from Wytheville, Virginia to Detroit, Michigan with a load of automotive parts when his commercial vehicle left the south side of I-64 westbound and became submerged in Slate Creek. Hall has been sent to the state medical examiners for an autopsy and the collision remains under investigation by Officer Larry Farris of the Commercial Enforcement Division.
