Robbery in Sharpsburg KY Investigation

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 1:11 a.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead was notified by Bath County Dispatch in reference to a Robbery that had taken place at the Town and Country Foodmart in Sharpsburg, Ky. Two white males, one armed with a semi automatic pistol, the other armed with a knife, entered the store and demanded money. One suspect pointed the gun at the cashier who complied with the demand. The suspects fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt during the robbery. One suspect was last scene wearing blue jeans, gray hoodie and knee high rubber boots. The second suspect was wearing blue jeans, a brown sweatshirt with unknown writing on the front and dark colored boots or shoes. Both suspects were wearing orange cloth covering their faces with eye holes cut out. The robbery remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
