KSP Arrest Woman in Terroristic Threatening Case

(Stanford, Ky.) -- On Thursday, August 18th, 2011, at approximately 3:30 PM EDT, Kentucky State Police Richmond Post arrested Kathy Jo Harrison, 51 of Stanford charging her with 12 counts of Harassing Communications, 12 counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence, five counts of Falsely Reporting an Incident, two counts of Retaliating Against a Participant in a Legal Process, one count each of Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree, Unlawful Access to a Computer Device 4th Degree and Obstructing Governmental Operations.
On June 4, 2011 an investigation began after several telephone calls were received by the KSP Post Richmond. The caller made numerous threats to harm a law enforcement official. The caller allegedly used "Spoofing" technology to hide their identity by presenting false names and numbers and altering their voice for the purpose of concealing their identity and harassing the victims.
Through investigation Tpr. Donnie Moses was able to gather enough evidence to charge Harrison with these crimes.
The investigation continues.
