Indiana Man Faces Numerous Felony Charges

(Richmond, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police has arrested an Indiana man after receiving a complaint of a suspicious vehicle that was parked in front of a Madison County residence. At approximately 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 15, Trooper Toby Coyle responded to the call of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence in Richmond. Trooper Coyle found the vehicle leaving the area, and upon investigation it was found that the driver possessed matter portraying a juvenile in a sexual performance. The driver is identified as James M. Young, 31 of Fort Wayne Indiana. Young is alleged to have corresponded with a juvenile on the internet and drove from Indiana to meet her at her Madison County residence. Young has been charged with Burglary 2nd, Sexual Abuse 1st, Sodomy 2nd, Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor (6 counts), and Use of a Minor Under 16 in a Sexual Performance (6 counts). Young was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Toby Coyle.
