Juvenile has been charged with Reckless Homicide

(Milton, KY) -- The collision investigation regarding the death of 63 year old Marshall Kendall of Milton has produced an arrest of a Trimble County juvenile. Through investigation, it was discovered that the accused juvenile allegedly placed a box of concrete bricks in the roadway of US 421 as a prank. The victim acting as a 'Good Samaritan,' was struck by a passing vehicle and killed as a result when he exited his vehicle to remove the items from the roadway.
The juvenile has been charged with Reckless Homicide. Reckless Homicide is class D felony which carries a sentence of 1-5 years imprisonment if convicted.
Trooper Dusty Corbin, an accident reconstructionist, continues to lead the ongoing investigation.

Trimble County pedestrian killed in accident

(Milton, KY) On Tuesday, October 4 at 8:36 P.M., Dispatchers from Post 5 received a 9-1-1 call reporting a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on US Highway 421 North just south of Milton. Preliminary investigation indicates that Marshall Kendall, age 63 from Milton was traveling south on US Highway 421 North and had stopped to remove some debris in the roadway. Mr. Kendall was struck by a vehicle traveling in the northbound lane. He was pronounced deceased on scene by the Trimble County Coroner.
Trooper Matthew Corbin is leading the accident reconstruction. He was assisted on scene by Trimble County EMS, Trimble County Coroner's office and Milton Fire Department.
