Special Traffic Enforcement Labor Day Weekend

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police, Post 5, is conducting the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over traffic safety campaign during the Labor Day weekend which began on Sunday, August 28, and continues through Monday, September 5. The campaign incorporates high visibility enforcement activities to enhance traffic safety while reducing traffic fatalities. Additional speed enforcement and traffic safety checkpoints are being conducted in the counties of Oldham, Henry, Trimble, Carroll, Owen, and Gallatin throughout the campaign.

A traffic safety checkpoint has been scheduled for Saturday, September 3 in Oldham County specifically for special media coverage. Other media coverage opportunities such as attendance of a Laser speed enforcement detail and/or participation in ride-alongs are available.
