Man arrested for selling $3500 of Oxycontin pills

(Crestwood, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Post (Post 5) and the Oldham County Police have concluded a three month long joint investigation which resulted in the arrest of an Indiana man. Edward McRae, 60 years old from New Albany, was arrested today (1/19) in Oldham County for selling Oxycontin pills with a street value worth $3500. Mr. McRae was charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree 1st Offense and taken to the Oldham County detention facility. Trafficking a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree 1st Offense is a class C Felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The investigation continues as charges are expected for additional suspects.
