(Pleasureville, Ky) -- Troopers and Detectives of Post 5 concluded an investigation in Henry County this morning (1/12) resulting in three men being charged for their involvement in trafficking marijuana through Federal Express packages. Through investigation, KSP learned that a package containing a sizeable quantity of marijuana was expected to be delivered to 5363 Castle Highway in Pleasureville from California. KSP began surveillance of 5363 Castle Highway awaiting delivery of the package. After delivery of the package, a vehicle operated by Evan Roseman, 24 years old from Crestwood, left the residence. The vehicle was then stopped in Eminence by the Eminence Police Department and KSP. Assisted by a K-9 unit, officers located just under one half pound of marijuana within the vehicle. Roseman was subsequently arrested by EPD Officer Phillip Parham and charged with Careless Driving, DUI, and Failure to Notify D.O.T. of Address Change. Trooper Tim Moore also charged Roseman and his passenger, John Abraham (25 years old from Crestwood), with Trafficking Marijuana Less than 8 ounces. Roseman and Abraham were transported to the Carroll County Detention facility.

Following the traffic stop, Troopers returned to 5363 Castle Highway with the assistance of the Henry County Sheriff's Office for a follow-up investigation. Investigation at the residence resulted in the additional recovery of a small amount of marijuana.
