Date of News Release: 08/17/2011

Evan James Morris

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- The Harrison County Sheriff's Office in Indiana has a missing person investigation in which a male subject (Evan James Morris is a white male age 28 and was born July 4th, 1983) was witnessed jumping off the 2nd Street Bridge into the Ohio River on May 28, 2011. Detective Eugene Maxwell U/989 (KSP) and the Meade County Coroner are trying to locate dental records for this subject. We are attempting to locate any dental providers who may have provided dental care to the individual (particularly in the Jeffersonville and New Albany, IN areas) so that we may compare those records to the remains that were found.

The subjectís mother is aware of our attempt to locate dental records by using our media outlets. His mother could not assist us in our search and is unaware if he ever had dental treatment.
