Update to the Meade County Injury Accident

Date of News Release: 07/07/2011

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) - One person that was involved Nicholas Holden Decker, WM, 19 of Corydon, Indiana passed away due to the injuries he sustained in the accident. The other individual Christina Kennon, WF, 18 of Corydon, Indiana is listed in critical condition at the University of Louisville hospital. Trooper Curtis Mouser is in charge of the investigation.

Meade County Injury Accident

Date of News Release: 07/06/2011

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) - On July 6, 2011 at 1:48 PM Eastern time, Kentucky State Police Post 4 received a report of an injury accident on Kentucky highway 79 approximately one half mile north of the Meade County, Breckinridge County line in Meade County. Initial investigation indicates that a 1991 Acura Integra was traveling north on Kentucky highway 79 when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway overturning several times ejecting both occupant. Both occupants where air lifted to University Hospital where they where listed in critical condition. The names of the occupants are being withheld pending further investigation. Trooper Curtis Mouser is the investigating unit.
