Injury collision on I-65

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) - On May 28, 2011 at 05:58 a.m. Kentucky State Police responded to the scene of an accident on the Bluegrass Parkway at I65. Carlious Burton was driving a Subaru Impreza, was traveling westbound on the Bluegrass Parkway. Carlious Burton, 25 years old, from Lexington, KY attempted to exit off the parkway to northbound I65. The vehicle entered the right shoulder and Carlious Burton overcorrected and entered the median between the exit ramp and the Bluegrass Parkway. Carlious Burton's vehicle flipped several times before coming to rest in the median. Carlious Burton was located at the Best Western where he had walked from the scene and was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by Hardin County EMS. He was later transported to University of Louisville Hospital for serious injuries.
