Felony drug arrest in Barren County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) –- On Saturday, 11-12-2011, the Kentucky State Police received an anonymous tip of drug activity at 13390 Tompkinsville Road in Barren County.
KSP Troopers Daniel White and Jeremy Hodges responded to the residence and were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence and property.
The search warrant was executed and yielded a large elaborate indoor marijuana grow consisting of approximately 1,300 marijuana plants, with a street value of, Two Million Six Hundred Thousand dollars.
Over $21,000 cash was seized along with a large quantity of growing equipment, chemicals, computerized equipment and 2 firearms. Also seized were two pickup trucks, one ATV, one Kubota tractor, one box trailer, two zero turn mowers and several outdoor power equipment tools.
At this time, three individuals have been arrested; Dallas Norris (69), Roger Goheen (39) and John Landrum (43) were charged with cultivating in marijuana (5 plants or more) and complicity.
In addition, Mr. Norris was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and being a persistent felony offender, 1st degree. All three were lodged in the Barren County Jail.
Trooper Daniel White is the case officer, and the investigation is ongoing.
Trooper White was assisted on the scene by Troopers, Jeremy Hodges, Graham Rutherford, Wesley Medley, Justin Rountree, Sgt. Mitch Hampton, Sgt. Kevin Pickett.
