Kentucky State Police Bowling Green Post and Hart County Emergency Services Gear Up for Consolidation

Date of News Release: 06/21/2011

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Friday, July 1, 2011, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green will officially become the 911 answering point for all emergency services in Hart County, Kentucky. This transition is the culmination of much planning and effort involving the Kentucky State Police, Hart County 911 Board, Hart County Fiscal Court and the City Councils of Bonnieville, Horse Cave and Munfordville.

The move to KSP Post 3 allows Hart County to avoid considerable expense to upgrade outdated equipment, while offering the advantages of a fully certified staff to answer 911 calls.
