Felony Drug Arrest in Butler County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Sunday, June 19, 2011, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green, Trooper Chad Smith, conducted a motorist assist on Stephens Chapel Road in Butler County, Kentucky. While assisting, William Dockery (18) of Morgantown, Kentucky, Trooper Smith advised that Dockery was extremely nervous which caused Trooper Smith to ask if Dockery had any illegal narcotics on his person or his vehicle.

During the course of the investigation, Trooper Smith located marijuana, eight separate baggies that contained methamphetamine that were going to be distributed for sale.

William Dockery was arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st (Meth), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Terroristic Threatening.

The investigation is going and is being led by Trooper Chad Smith.
