Pursuit Lead to Arrest in Barren County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 12:16 a.m., Trooper Graham Rutherford observed a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed on Happy Valley Road in Barren County, Kentucky.
The operator of a 1999 Suzuki Motorcycle, Jeffery Love (19) of Austin, Kentucky, ignored Trooper Rutherford's emergency equipment and continued onto US 31 W. Jeffery Love then travelled on KY 255 where the pursuit ended when Jeffery Love lost control of his motorcycle and had a collision on KY 255 near KY 252.
Jeffery Love was treated and released from T.J. Samson Hospital and was lodged at the Barren County Jail. He is charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st, Speeding (26 mph or greater), Reckless Driving, 3 Counts of Disregarding a Stop Sign, Failure to Notify DOT of Address Change, No Insurance, No Registration, and Improperly on Left Side of Road.
The investigation is ongoing and is be led by Trooper Graham Rutherford. He was assisted by Sgt. Jason Gabbard, Tpr. Wesley Medley, Barren County Sheriff's Department Deputies Adam Bow, Aaron Bennett, Mike Houchens, and Barren County EMS.
