DNA Evidence Leads to Felony Arrest

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Two individuals have been charged on two separate Hart County burglaries due to DNA evidence. Santana Woodard (39) of Horse Cave, KY, is charged with burglarizing the Little Country Store in Canmer, KY on March 26, 2009.

John French (45) of Louisville, KY, is charged with burglarizing a residence in Horse Cave, KY, on October 28, 2004. In both cases, DNA evidence was left at each scene implicating both men. These two cases are not related. DNA matches have just confirmed the suspects to the burglaries.

Both subjects have been indicted by the Hart County Grand Jury. The Investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Daniel White.
