Two vehicle injury collision in Warren County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On March 21, 2011, at 5:14 P.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call for service regarding an injury collision located on Moorman Lane at the intersection with Woodstone. The operator of Unit 1, Ronald Bryant, age 57, of Bowling Green, was traveling west on Moorman Lane in his 2008 Ford Pickup. The operator of Unit 2, Robert Woodward, age 44, of Bowling Green, was traveling east on Moorman Lane on his 1982 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Unit 1 turned left onto Woodstone directly in the path of Unit 2 causing Unit 2 to impact Unit 1 on his passenger side. The operator of Unit 1 was not injured after the collision. The operator of Unit 2 was transported by ambulance to the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was then life-flighted to the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, where he was admitted. The operator of Unit 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision and the operator of Unit 2 was not wearing a helmet. The investigation is still ongoing by Trooper Matt Cardwell. He was assisted on scene by Trooper Daren Phelps, Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department, MedCom, and Air Methods Helicopter.
