I-65 4 Vehicle Injury Collision

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On March 2, 2011 at 12:43 p.m., the Kentucky State Police responded to the 61 mile point on I-65 in Hart County, KY, regarding a 4 vehicle injury collision. The driver of Unit 1 was driven by Charles Singer of Largo, Florida. He was traveling North on I-65 when he came upon stopped traffic due to construction. Unit 1 impacted Unit 2 driven by Ramona Singh of Lavergne, Tennessee. Unit 2 then impacted Unit 3, driven by Bruce Dye of Falls of the Rough, KY. Unit 3 then impacted Unit 4, driven by Vicki Hensley of Horse Cave, KY. The drivers of Units 1 and 4 were treated and released at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave, KY. The driver of Unit 3 was air evacuated to University of Louisville Hospital and is listed in stable condition. The collision is being investigated by Trooper Jonathan McChesney and was assisted by Master Trooper Terry Alexander, Trooper First Class Lonnie Hodges, and the Horse Cave Volunteer Fire Department.
