Injury Accident Follow up

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Bowling Green Post is advising that Hayward Wilson, who had an injury accident on Monday, January 25, 2011, died as a result of a physical condition that he suffered while being treated at The Medical Center. Mr. Wilson's death was not a result of injuries suffered in the collision that occurred on KY 185 and his death is not going to be considered a traffic fatality.

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- At 1000 hours Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call of an injury accident. Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Sewell responded. Upon investigation it was determined that a 2001 freightliner operated by a Hayward P. Wilson of Falls Of Rough, Ky., was headed south on KY 185 when he the freightliner he was driving travel portion of the roadway and crossed through a large ditch striking several trees. He was transported to the Bowling Green Medical Center by Edmonson County EMS where he was later pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Chris Smith. It was later determined by the medical staff that Mr. Wilson had a heart attack before the vehicle ran off the roadway.
