Hopkins County Drug Arrest

Date of News Release: 11/17/2011

(Hopkins County) -- On Thursday, November 17, 2011 at approximately 12:47 p.m., troopers received a call for assistance from Probation & Parole at a residence located on Chestnut Street in the limits of Nortonville. A search of the residence revealed suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia. Melanie Larkins, age 50 of Nortonville, KY, was arrested without incident and charged with the following offenses:

Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense-Meth
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Ms. Larkins was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. Trooper Joseph Bartolotti was the arresting officer. Trooper First Class John Komar, Trooper Ben Sawyer, Trooper Curtis Crick, and Probation & Parole assisted at the scene.
