Three Arrested in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 08/20/2011

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Post 2 received a complaint from Elk Creek Mines that 3 subjects were trespassing on mine property. Upon units arrival the mine employees stated 2 subjects had fled on foot into the mine property. Units located William Humphrey still at the scene. He was located with a vehicle loaded with over 1,000 feet of aluminum wire.

Larry Edmonds and Christopher Stewart were later located on the mine property. They were arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.

William M. Humphrey was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking, Criminal Trespassing 2nd Degree.
