Christian County Felony Drug Arrest

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at approximately 9:35 P.M., Troopers with the Kentucky State Police were conducting a Pre-Approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint outside of Hopkinsville, KY. Trooper Smith observed Jordan Goodman operating his vehicle, manifestly under the influence. Through investigation, he was also found to be illegally in possession of prescription narcotic controlled substances. Mr. Goodman was operating his vehicle with a 4 year old child in the passenger seat. Mr. Goodman was arrested and taken to the Christian County Detention Center where he was processed and lodged. Mr. Goodman was charged with Operating On Suspended Operators License, DUI 2nd Offense Aggravating Circumstances, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree – 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree – 1st Offense, Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Proper Container 1st Offense, Failure To Surrender Revoked Operators License, Possession License When Privileges Are Revoked, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, and Tampering With Physical Evidence.
