Injury collision on KY 189 in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Lynard Clark pulled out of Copper Creek Drive onto KY 189 traveling North. Eric Bryan was traveling North on KY 189 and failed to observe Mr. Clark traveling at a slow rate of speed. Mr. Bryan then struck the back of Mr. Clark's vehicle causing Mr. Bryan's passenger to be thrown into the windshield. Mr. Bryan was determined to be under the influence and was charged with Dui. Upon further investigation, Mr. Bryan was found to be in possession of marijuana, and an assorted amount of pills. Mr. Bryan was charged with Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs 2nd offense, Failure of owner to maintain required insurance, Possession of marijuana, Possession of Drug paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd degree 1st offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st offense, Possession of a legend drug, and Prescription Controlled Substance not in proper container 1st offense. Both of the juvenile passengers in Bryan's vehicle were transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. The other driver, Mr. Clark, was not injured.
