Burglary Arrest in Graves County

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police (KSP) has arrested two persons for burglarizing a local business two times in early 2011. On February 24, 2011 the Dinner Bell Restaurant was burglarized and damaged. The same night, two other nearby businesses, Purchase Ford and Shelby Automotive, were also burglarized. On March 23, 2011 a second burglary occurred at the Dinner Bell Restaurant off Highway 45, just north of Mayfield.
On October 20, 2011 a Graves County Grand Jury returned indictments against Jeremy Perkins (22) and Charles J. Russell (22), both of Mayfield, charging them with two (2) counts each of Burglary in the Third Degree by Complicity and one (1) count each of Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree by Complicity. These charges only pertain to the two burglaries of the Dinner Bell Restaurant.
Charles J. Russell was lodged in the Calloway County Jail, where he was already incarcerated on unrelated burglary charges. Perkins was arrested on October 23, 2011 and lodged in the Graves County Jail. The arrests were the culmination of cooperation between the Graves County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police.
KSP still needs the public's assistance as it relates to information pertaining to the Purchase Ford and Shelby Automotive burglaries.
