Injury collision on Almo Road in Murray, Ky

(Murray, Ky.) -- Sixty-year-old William T. Atherton of Almo was charged with Driving on a DUI Suspended License (aggravated), Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs 2nd Offense (aggravated), Failure to Surrender Revoked Operator's License and two counts of Prescription Medication not in Proper Container after a single vehicle collision in Calloway County. Mr. Atherton was traveling west on Almo road when his vehicle left the roadway, coming to final rest in a ditch. Mr. Atherton was treated on scene and transported to Lourdes Hospital by the Murray-Calloway County Ambulance Service where he was cited into court due to his injuries Trooper Martin was assisted by Calloway County Fire Rescue and the Murray-Calloway County Ambulance Service.
