Missing Child Investigation and Arrest in Daviess County

(Henderson, KY) - Troopers responded to 900 Hartford Pike in Livermore after Diana Latham reported to the State Police that her 13 year old niece had went missing after she walked out of her aunt's apartment. Investigation at the scene revealed that a witness watched the 13 year old girl get into an unknown white car being driven by an unknown white male. During the course of the investigation Troopers identified Randall Wahl II, 36 years of age, as a suspect after learning that Latham's niece had been communicating with Wahl online. Troopers then began tracking Wahl's cell phone and located him at a motel in Owensboro with Latham's 13 year old niece. Wahl was arrested and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. Latham's niece did not appear to be injured but was taken to OMHS for examination.
