Three injured in a two vehicle collision on US Highway 60 Bypass and US Highway 60

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Gilbert Ray Burris was operating a Green 1999 Peterbilt tractor and trailer, traveling northbound on US Highway 60 bypass. Clinton Belt was operating a black 2007 Chevy Impala, traveling westbound on US Highway 60. Mr. Burris approached the intersection at US Highway 60 Bypass and US Highway 60 where he failed to stop for a red light and struck Mr. Belt's vehicle on the driver's side. Mr. Belt's vehicle continued traveling northbound on the bypass and left the roadway coming to final rest on the eastbound side of the bypass. Mr. Burris' vehicle continued traveling northbound on the bypass and left roadway on the westbound side of the bypass. Clinton Belt was transported by Union County EMS to St. Mary's hospital in Evansville Indiana, Stephanie Belt was taken by P H I Helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, and Noland Reynolds was taken by Life Flight Helicopter to St Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. All three were being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Gilbert Burris was not injured. The accident is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
