Injury collision on US 60 in Union County

(Henderson, KY.) -- Mr. James Miller Jr. was traveling West on US60 approximately 3 miles East of Sturgis in a Silver 2002 Chevy Cavalier. After exiting a curve the vehicle crossed the center line into the opposite lane and the driver's side wheels left the roadway. Mr. Miller overcorrected while trying to bring the vehicle back onto the road, causing him to lose control. Mr. Miller then over-steered and the vehicle left the roadway on the left shoulder where it struck an earthen embankment. The vehicle then flipped on its side and back onto all four wheels where it came to final rest. Mr. Miller complained of head and knee pain and was transported by helicopter to St. Mary's in Evansville, Indiana and is in stable condition. Dwayne Decker, who was the passenger in the vehicle, complained of chest pain on scene and was transported by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana where he is in stable condition.
