Drug Investigation and Arrest in Union County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson executed a search warrant at a residence on State Route 666 near Morganfield. A search of the property revealed several marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and some processed marijuana. An underground container was discovered on the property that was equipped with electricity, running water, and a ventilation system which are all commonly used for indoor marijuana growing operations. Another hidden room that was under construction was also discovered that had the potential to be an additional indoor marijuana growing area once completed. Both subjects (Ronart A Wedding & Doris Albert Wedding) were lodged in the Union County Jail. Ronart A Wedding was charged with Cultivating Marijuana (5 or more plants), Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Methamphetamine, Traffic in Marijuana-8oz. to 5lbs. (1st Offense), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1st Offense). Doris Albert Wedding was charged with Cultivating Marijuana (5 plants or more) & Tampering with Physical Evidence. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the DEA and the Union County Sheriff's Office.
