Owensboro juvenile charged

(Henderson, Ky.) -- On Thursday, January 6, 2011, the Kentucky State Police in Henderson charged a 17 year-old male juvenile with four counts of Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor. The Kentucky State Police's Internet Crime Against Children was contacted by National Center of Missing and Exploited Children about someone from the Owensboro area receiving sexual images on a teen chat site. Trooper Juan Moorman charged the juvenile with the four images he received over the teen chat site.

KSP seized his computer and sent it to Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory. Technicians located more images and videos displaying minors in sexual activity.

On Thursday, February 10, 2011, Trooper Juan Moorman filed the additional charges in a juvenile petition, which was sent to the Daviess County District Court.

Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor is a class D felony.
